The Pagadian City Library before the Tech4ED Project came in our library, we were once called as “lousy library”, maybe due to the absence of the facilities that we have now in the Tech4ED. The launching of the Tech4Ed in our library last Mach 31, 2016, what we did, we immediately started our online registration last April 2, 2016, that made our library recognized as Top 3 in rank as MC1 TECH4ED CENTER TOP PERFORMER during the recognition done last July 20, 2016, Zamboanga City.
Then as of this month of November 14, 2016, we have a total of 431 newly registered users that again made us 3rd nationwide TOP PERFOMER we give thanks to this recognition again to the Tech4Ed organizers, this recognition will boast our effort to make our goal to be may be number one in the next evaluation in the mercy of God as a true servant of the people in our area.
Strategy:
1. The Librarian as center manager has to introduce the benefits that the tech4ED can help in the e upliftment of economic condition of every individual. Some of the highlights that the Tech4ED can offer are livelihood programs, online research, eduSkills are very attractive to all walk-in clients so they don’t hesitate to register immediately.
2. The librarian has to go out from the four-walls of her room and visited different offices in the City and introduced the Tech4ED programs in the library using the online service.
3. Meeting with old friends during the scheduled gatherings is one of the opportune time to discussed about the Tech4ED project in the City Library.
4. Invites group of young people who were roaming in our plaza where our Library building is located.
